Push 3 Volume Knob - Live not Running

When Push 3 is connected to my Mac (AKA not standalone) and Live is NOT running on the computer...
The volume knob is completely disabled
This makes total sense to not have control over a Live set's Master volume or Cue volume, since it doesn't exist.
However, if the Push 3 is to function as a general audio interface, we should still have access to the volume knob to control the "Main Output" and the "Headphone Output" even when Live is not running.
