Build your own instruments _ Not sure how but maybe some kind of open architecture like max msp or max msp runtime engine installed with live (I know thats going a bit open source but hey it would be a nice feature)

this 'tip' is way outside the scope of Live

use SynthEdit or SynthMaker to create your own VST / VSTi using a modular DSP format. Both free to use as fully functional apps, but with an option to register for cash.,

If you don't know a ring modulator from an allpass you have a lot of learning to do though.

do you mean 'what music' or 'what technical developments' ?

I mainly use it for vocals, I loop around 8 bars and sing some harmonic parts. I have quite a few new tracks in this vein - my girlfriend said it was similar to Dead can Dance !! I take that as a compliment, even if I dont really agree.
Other than that I use it with guitar for a classic Fripp and Eno sound, no pussyfooting style. That's not releasable, but it's great fun to play :)

I also use it on synths to stack up the sounds for pads - it's really fun to play a riff, tinker with the parameters of the synth and play it again over the top. I do use it a little hand percusion too .. that's quite good for getting big 'ethnic' loops going as I have a few handdrums.

as for developments in the software of Angstrolooper - I do have a 4x4 looper that has internal routing (send loop1 to loop3, etc) where you can mute and arm individual loops. But I actually tend to use the basic angstrolooper much more and use the routing in Live.

I have other instruments on the go - but they all have odd bugs that I need to fix in between making songs.

moog-style sequencer. * a bug in patch changes suddenly started crashing Live :(

Angstro Stepper * got to tidy the graphics and stop trying to add new features!

AngstroSynth2 - a hybrid between a minimoog and a korgmono-poly and an MS20 . it's the synth I use all the time for leads, basses and pads. * I just need to make an installer.

all this stuff is made with synthEdit combined with my poor grasp of C++ to make a few extra modules.

sorry I mean "technical developments", my english is "poor"...

thank you very for your kind answer

that's what I want to know.... "your poor grasp of C++" is good for me, because I have the same....
I use your looper for everything, looping bug on the fly, doing wall of sound with crackle, deep drone of nothing, etc etc.... it's simple, I 've thrown away many of my free plugins for your looper.
SO good luck for your future application/vst, great job for this one really.

Enjoy
