Apologies as I'm 99% sure this is a repost. I couldn't find the other thread I read a while back.
I have a controller only Push 3.
My issue is: When I step sequence a melody, if I hold the pad with a note on it and try to alter a parameter, I cannot alter any parameters if this note has already been used in the sequence.
E.g.
1st note in sequence is a C3. I can edit parameters by holding the pad down and changing the encoders. However, if any other pad in the sequence is also assigned C3 I cannot edit any parameters for it. The encoders have no effect.
I reported to support but have heard nothing back.
My questions are:
Has this issue been addressed in the beta version? I can't see it in any of the release notes but may be confused by the wording. I have not installed beta yet but will do so if this issue is fixed.
Have many other people experienced this issue? I'm not sure how many people actually use the step sequencer for melodies.
Thanks in advance.

What if you use the jogwheel method to select your "2nd" note?

Heya. The process you mention does work. It just requires switching to clip mode and taking the time to scroll to the note. I like the ability to just hold the pad and edit parameters. Its much more spontaneous (I have used elektron devices in the past and they work similar to this). This functionality is there (works when using melodic sequencer+32, just not the regular sequencer).

I was about to advise you to switch to melodic+32 steps modeezilybored wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2023 9:33 pm(works when using melodic sequencer+32, just not the regular sequencer).

Ha yep. Work arounds are fine for now. A fix in the future would be best.
Has anyone else experienced/managed to replicate this or is it maybe just my machine?
