Using Push to add effects to an individual drum rack chain/pad??

Post by rachmanoff » Mon Dec 18, 2023 12:39 pm

I keep getting unexpected results when I try to add an effect to an individual drum pad/chain in a drum rack using my Push 3 (controller, non standalone).

First, I select the chain/pad (marked with a little square) by pressing the upper display button. Then I press the + button to add an effect. But then the effect ends up on some totally different pad!

I have tried several variations on this but get similarly unexpected results.

Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? Is this a bug?

If anyone else can verify that this works for them (and how they go about it) I would appreciate it.

Make sure to select the pad's instrument or any already existing effect in the chain, and then press "+".

If you select the chain/choke thing (the "little square" you mentioned) the effect is indeed being placed in total random places it seems... this definitely is a bug! Could you report to Support please?
