Push Standalone with Launchpad
Push Standalone with Launchpad
Hello guys hope all is well.
I am using a launchpad mini to control the scenes in Ableton. I have tried it with the push standalone but the lights of the clips are not shown on the launchpad. Is it even possible to use it with full function? Is there a special trick for setting it up?

Re: Push Standalone with Launchpad
If it works with Live (since it has a Control Surface script) it should work the same with P3S, you shouldn't need to do anything different.
If Live picks up the Launchpad script automatically, P3S should too... but does Live actually selects it automatically or do you have to select in the Pref manually?

Re: Push Standalone with Launchpad
Thx for the reply.
It works. But only the lights are not shown.
Maybe it is a bug.
It picks it automatically. On the launchpad I got the drumsection and the keyssection. The same as on the push in controllermode.
In the clipsection I can start the clips and stop. But with no visible feedback only with clips.

I have the same issue with an Akai APC mini mk2.
Input is working, but no feedback to the LEDs.
I‘ve opened a support case, which is still open.

Re: Push Standalone with Launchpad
Are you using release or beta version on the Push?
My problem is solved when using the release version.

Oh, man that’s cool to hear.
Fact is that I am using a beta version. I will try to find a release version. Maybe it works.
Thank you very much!
At the moment I am running push 1.1.20b7.
Is it easy to downgrade the version?

Re: Push Standalone with Launchpad
Here you find the official releaes:
https://www.ableton.com/en/download/archive/
Downgrade procedures are described on centercode („regular releases“), it‘s an easy task.
Please don‘t forget to report the regression on centercode

Yes, thank you.
To use a public release is the solution. Now everything is well.
The lights are shown now.

Re: Push Standalone with Launchpad
Unfortunately, the beta regression slipped through into the release version.
Re: Push Standalone with Launchpad
Best to report on centercode again so it gets logged.
