I seem unable to delete some sets but I can others.

Under 'sets' if I navigate through my sets and do a right click on the jog wheel, some sets show the 'delete, rename' screen, others don't.

It's hard to give 'steps to replicate' as all the sets were saved by various means over time, so I don't remember what differences each set has, if any.

Has anybody else encountered similar problems?

It seems to be a recurring issue. I can always delete from Live's Push browser.

Sometimes deleting from Live seems to free sets I couldn't previously delete on Push.

Sounds like bugs unless I'm missing something and in some contexts it's expected behaviour to not be able to delete a set.

Most of the time you only get the rename/delete option for the currently loaded set/project.

Ah great, no that's cool. Well, bugs aren't cool but at least I'm not misunderstanding expected behaviour. And, yes, well done, you've reminded me that you seem to always be able to do it for a loaded project which is a workaround for now. I'd worked that out before but forgotten

frustratingly slow fixes on basic UI issues like this are a total drag.. I am a coder.. There's no excuse for not getting things like this fixed immediately.. still an issue.. :/ not working for currently loaded project either..

Even though the bug is known, make sure to report to Support to add your voice!

My guess is they're working away on ver 12.. They have no incentive to fix ver 11 when 12 will address them.. It's the way most companies operate today and it's sad.. 12 will then introduce an entire new set of BUGS.. Ive put in several requests for lacking features and bugs.. Ive gotten some repsonse (mostly after weeks or over a month) saying some or all of them will be added to the list.. Im currently very unimpressed with the ableton support process and dont intend on taking my time to submit more.. nice products, but not gonna hold my breath for fixes or enchantments.. if it doesnt work enought for me at the present (which it does, but is frustrating with all the lack of some basic workflow features and bugs in push standalone) I will just make it work or sell it and replace it with something else if they dont get eventually addressed..

I also ran into issues with managing sets and presets...plus not that fast to use the wheel for naming. Anyway, I built this app so I can do quick managing w/o firing up a laptop and Live: https://monoempire.com/pushkin/ (shameless plug, but also hoping others find it useful too)

As developers we know the story with bugs. There are as many reasons why bugs go unfixed as there are bugs themselves, and for any given product, there are so many fingers in the pie it's very difficult to assign blame.

What is clear, I think, is that for whatever reason Ableton seem short on support resources. This I don't get. They've now had ample time to employ and train more people.

Cool, I do have P6 actually - so will check it out!
