Arrow navigation button behaves as if held down

When I try to navigate and launch tracks in Push 3, in controlling live mode, the arrow button, on a multiple track session, works ok for the first few tracks, but then suddenly behaves as if is held down continuously *which I'm not doing* and scrolls rapidly down to the last track. It also happens in the opposite direction with the left arrow, scrolling up to the first track.
Anybody else experienced this? Is this hardware or software related? Thanks

That sounds like a hardware fault sadly.

I get this fault intermittently without hardware attached. Session View scrolls all the way to the right by itself. It’s happened intermittently for the last 5+ years over multiple versions. I can’t work out what causes it. It’s a very infrequent anomaly though.

Interesting, I don't think I've ever seen that mentioned here or in testing before.

I've contacted support and sent them a video of it happening. I'm waiting for their response.
I hope they answer soon as I'm still within my 30 day return period.
Push 3 seems pretty amazing, but with this fault it is useless to me, as I aimed to do live sets with it.

My Push 3, purchased this January, has started doing this. (It may have been doing this all along and I just wasn't working on a large enough project until now.)

It doesn't happen in Bitwig using the Driven By Moss script. Could this be a software bug instead of faulty hardware?

A way to check would be to watch for your P3's midi output before it hits Live in a software like Midi Monitor or ShowMIDI (sorry I don't know the name of similar app on WIndows)

If I'm understanding the results of my test correctly, this is due to a software bug. I used 'Midi Monitor' for MacOS.

The push is sending CC 13, value 127, followed by CC 13, value 0 every time I press the right arrow for rightward track navigation. It only happens once each button press. No spurious repetitions. It is Live deciding to properly advance to the next track (which it does if the next track is still in its display window), or incorrectly scroll all the way to the last track if the next track is outside the current display window.

It's a bit of a relief knowing this is not a hardware defect.

I'm on the latest version of MacOS Ventura. Where's the best place to report this bug?
