External instrument with Push 2: Visualization of input monitoring

I use Ableton Live 11 with a Push 2 to play live with a modular synth via external instrument(s). It would be very helpful to have a visualization for the external instrument's input monitoring on Push. Since especially with modular synths the signal can become pretty hot, turning to the computer screen for external instrument's tiny input visualualization in order to check for clipping is quite a pain in a live situation.
