Push 2 Max 4 Live Scale Feature?

So i've spent a few hours today researching ways to add custom scales to the Push 2. I found one method where you can take a script to add scales, but that method caused me to have to uninstall/reinstall Live 11 because it broke communication between my Push 2 and the computer. I think it only works for earlier versions of Live. I'm on the most recent one (11.3.20), so when i used the script to update the Push 2, i kept getting an error message about the .pyc file. So looks like that's not a way to get custom scales for my case. Is there a Max 4 Live device that's integrated with the Push that we can use to create custom scales that work the same way as the built in scales on the Push 2? When i say this, i mean a way where you can set the pads to go in sequence the same way without having to go into chromatic mode to access the proper notes. Hopefully what i'm saying makes sense.
