In the M4L device, the location specified by the mouse cursor and the location where the mouse cursor is actually moved are misaligned in the X direction (horizontal direction).
Therefore, the UI in the M4L device cannot be manipulated.
This happens with all M4L devices (effects, instruments), not just certain M4L devices.
I have tried uninstalling Ableton and installing the latest version, but there is no improvement.
I hope there is a solution.
- Ableton Live 11.3.20 (also in 11.3.13, same trouble was occured)
- Windows 11
Pointer misaligned on M4L device
Re: Pointer misaligned on M4L device
I found a solution right after I made this post
I changed the scaling from 100% to some other value (like 125%) in windows settings when using certain external monitors and it cured it.
Also, several other sub-monitors did not have this trouble.
I don't know the exact cause, but if you can tolerate large text display, there seems to be no problem.

Re: Pointer misaligned on M4L device
Is it something you can reproduce with native M4L devices?
Are you using Live's builtin Max or an external version?
