Maschine+ as midi controller

I was wondering if I should be able to use Maschine+ as a midi controller for some of the UI in Live 11?
I found some videos regarding downloading the panel templates, but it included MK3 and Maschine Studio, but nothing for Maschine+.
Can I manually assign these?

The Maschine+ is effectively a MK3 when it's connected to USB.

The internals are literally a MK3 with a mini computer in one corner.
