Is there a way or work around to CHOKE chains in an instrument rack ( not the drum rack)

Hi I would like to use the chain selector to activate different drums racks nested inside an instrument rack.
is it possible to choke the instrument rack chains, as in only the one selected will be played back and the others muted.
