Play all tracks at a specific time in session view

In the session view I am trying to play a track at a specific time on the timeline but when I do this the other tracks play at their starting positions and not at the point on the timeline where I clicked. I don't understand why it doesn't do this automatically. I don't want to always start the song from the beginning and wait for it to get to the part I am editing, nor do I want switch back and forth between the session view and the arrangement view. And I absolutely do not want to edit each clip's starting point to focus on a area of a track I am working on. (I tried searching for this but I couldn't find anything)
