MIDI Playback records with microphone input on audio track.

Hi Everyone,

I have a MIDI pattern plotted out on a MIDI track. I can play and hear it no worries at all.

I also have an AUDIO track which I have my mic routing to.

When arm the AUDIO track and I hit the record button and talk into the microphone, the MIDI pattern can be heard playing together with my voice in the background.

Can someone please assist me to find how can I listen to the MIDI audio on my monitor headphones, but not have its content recorded into the AUDIO track? Mind you, the MIDI audio is not coming from the MIC but Ableton is playing it into my AUDIO track.

Can I disable this somehow?

Experiencing this as well. It stops when I turn off pre-fader listen...the catch then is that I can no longer here the beat in my headphones. I am currently using Ableton 10.1.43 and using the Yamaha MG16XU as my mixer.
