The automatic mappings from device parameters to control surface knobs is out of date. They don't seems to have been updated since v10. Newer devices aren't even listed.
Please update to the current version.

These aren't specific to a control surface. They're the same built in banks for each ableton device that you see on a Push in Device mode. It's also called Device mode on my LaunchKey 37.
The controls on the newer Live devices do have mappings, but they're not documented so you have to go through each bank wiggling knobs and trying to see/hear what changed. Then writing them down to refer to.
The banks are documented in the Help View under Control Surface Reference starting on page 49.
