Guy sends me stems from logic and they sound tripping in my ableton

Hey guys,

working with another chap and he uses logic, he sends me stems and i insert them in ableton. however some of them suddenly sound like they are distorted/skip seconds and then completely out of rhythm.

PLS HELP! <3 !!!

Also: Does it generally lower quality of the stems when you have 25 as opposed to 5?

In the clip view for stem, turn off the warping button.
