Akai MAx49 setup w/ live lite 11

Hey I can't get the max49 to work with Ableton live lite 11, the max49 doesn't come up as a control surface, only as input and output. There's also no support downloads on akai website other than manuals and they only refer to ableton live 9. Any help is much appreciated

It looks like you need to download and install some files. There is not default support.

Hopefully this isn’t too old where some of the functionality might be broken. The files are on this site and the instructions are in the Programs Manual (I think that’s what it was called)
