Routing MIDI with VST Instrument

I'm using ToonTracks's EZKeys with Live 11 in Arrangement View. I can set the EZKeys plugin to output MIDI, and then set another Live track to take MIDI from the EZKeys track. This works great, and I can use EZKeys with any instrument I want. However, there is a workflow issue when doing this. The EZKeys plugin does not pass MIDI in through to MIDI out, so when I'm routed this way I can't use the EZKeys track in the usual way (playing through it live and playing MIDI clips). And the second instrument track can't listen to MIDI input and the output of the EZKeys track at the same time. I guess this is an EZKeys issue because the plugin doesn't support MIDI through, but perhaps this is a common problem that there is a known workaround for? It would be great if a Live could listen to two MIDI sources on a track, or somehow wrap the MIDI through around an instrument plugin. Thoughts?
