Live 12 won't recognise Push (11 will)

Hi all, since joining the 12 beta for Live and Push I cannot connect Push to Live 12. It never shows up - whereas in Live 11 it will recognise the device, however, I cannot connect to Live 11 as I have the 12 beta on Push. So currently I'm unable to connect P3SA to Live at all. Has anyone had this issue? See screenshots below to help illustrate what I'm saying.

Centercode is the place to discuss this!
I've experienced this too though, and you can try:
- moving L12b Preferences.cfg file somehwere; start Live; close Live; and replace the newly created Preferences.cfg file with your previous one (unless you don't mind re-setting everything again).
- or re-authorizing Push

I cannot seem to find Preferences.cfg, only Properties.cfg - is this the same thing? Also I can see Properties.cfg in multiple locations, do you know which one? (if this is the file you speak of)

P.S. this is still happening on Live 12 after upgrading from the beta.

No, I'm talking about the Preferences.cfg file.
On mac it's at /Users/username/Library/Preferences/Ableton/Live 12.0b29
not sure what's the path on WIndows, but a quick search will provide the info if needed.

Hi there I tried your suggestion and it doesn't work.

I noticed that on my Push on the software page, it says Ableton Live 11 (11.3.23b1) under the version of Push. Why is it still saying Live 11 rather than 12? I guess this is the reason it is not connecting.

How can I update this? I have tried "authorising". I have left a topic on centrecode too but would really appreciate any insights.

I have the same problem, I was told Live 12 for Push 3 standalone releases this upcoming Tuesday.
It is referencing that Live 11 build because I am assuming it is the latest (which you do NOT have a license for).

So authorization is looking for Live 11, because 12 is not out yet.

If you're on Windows, make sure it's not your firewall.

Im on mac (macbook pro 13” i7 8GBram) my firewall is turned off. It’s weird because, although buggy, I was able to transfer to push in ableton 11. I really have no idea wat could be the reason of push not showing up in live, and when it sporadically does not being able to pair. For now I have all the templates I need on there but for the future this might become a huge problem..
