Live 12 Tag Storage Location

Hello everyone,

we're using a Google Workspace Drive to have our self-cut Samples at the same place between two workstations in the Studio.
With Live 12's tagging feature we're very excited because it'll help us a lot navigating samples and plugins.

Can someone share knowledge on where the Tags and the connection between plugins and Tags are stored?
If it is within the file system, is there a way to offload this onto Google Drive as well?

All the required data indeed is stored either in the Preferences.cfg or the Library.cfg. So you can use the following two articles from our online help resources to achieve what you want - especially the 2nd article should cater your needs:

Some additional info:

- If you tag an item which is part of an installed pack, the tags are stored in XMPs in the User Library in a folder called Ableton Folder Info
- If you tag an item in a sample folder mounted to places then an Ableton Folder Info folder is created within that folder and the tag assignments are stored in an XMP there.
