something is really messed up in 12.
I load my project in 11 and in 12.
The beats are completely off in 12. look at 65-68 in Ableton 11 it's fine. in 12. it's off.
any way to fix it.. not going to fix all my 100+ tracks for this.. in 12.

Right we can see your 2nd track being off in L12 compared to L11.
Are you sure you didn't touch anything after opening the set in L12? The 2nd track is selected in L12, are you sure didn't press the left arrow key and moved the clip or its start marker or a warp marker? We can also you have a tempo automation in L12; this can "move" unwarped clips.
I never experienced nor heard about such an issue.
Can you try with another set?

I did not change anything.
I tried it with several other projects, and all the same behavior.
All my clips are warped.
I did noticed that the start is off in 12 for the wave form. but all the numbers are correct on the left.

here is another project where track 5 is off.
almost seems that the tracks that got Added after the 2 original audio tracks are the ones that are shifting. which makes 12 unusable for me.
Sure hope this get's fixed asap.

you take one project (.als file), you open it in Live 11 and it's "ok", then you close Live 11 and you open that same .als file in Live 12 and then in Live 12 it's not the same ? This is what you say ?

correct.
here is one side by side
so idk if i am missing something here... but i have this with all my projects. so it's gotta be either a setting or 12 is loading differently. idk.

made another screen.
seems like it's chopping off the beginning when there is no sound , therefore everything is out of sync.. if you look at those markers. ?
tried setting the begin markers to 1.1.1.1 in 11 and then load it in 12, and no difference. the file still gets loaded wrong.
checked all the settings and they are all fine. so idk what i'm missing here.

That’s bad bad bad and I never experienced this. Perhaps I was just lucky ?
Did you write to support already ?

also noticed now, that in 12, if you zoom out a little bit of where the shifting happens. all the sudden it shifts back in place. ?????????????????
but the music is still way off....

Have you made the usual latency adjustments?

I don’t know if this has any influence on the results, but it appears you are using mp3 files. If I’m not mistaken ( things have changed over the past few years ), Live has to render the mp3 files into a non-compressed format. There might be some strange behavior shifting everything when it is rendered???

no, everything is default.
but would that also change the fact that it would load differently ?
thought latency was more for the playback on the device for the sound.. not visually or am i wrong ?
