I'm seriously thinking about buying one, mainly price based, and would like to know if it will run Live12 OK. I don't want to do anything too demanding and my main interest is in using it in conjunction with Akai Force and to run MPC in Controller mode to auto sample VST's for 'Keygroups' etc.. Not too many tracks, but maybe lots of plug ins for mixing/mastering with a large sample size, latency not being a problem there.
My old MBP, which I need to keep to enable my firewire mixer, ran the 11 trial fine. Way better than my current version 9 ever worked on anything, but 12 will not run on the most recent Apple operating software I can instal.
Not considering 'Air' for Live 12 alone and I assume I could install 9 on it.
Would love to hear from anyone using one. Quick search on the Forum suggested there were issues with an update last year but then that was with version 11.
