Can I automatically sync backing vocals to main vocals?

Hey lovely people,

I have a kinda big issue: I recorded backing vocals to make the main voice sound bigger (same voice/singer). But the backing vocals are not perfectly on point time wise. Which creates a little distortion of the voice I think and it makes it sound a bit weird if that makes sense..(?)

How do I adjust them to the main vocals time wise? Is there a tool which can do that for me (based on frequency/time) so theyre in a more harmonic relation to each other?
Ill go crazy if I zoom into every bit of the backing vocals and try to adjust it timewise perfectly to the main vocal.

But now it distorts the sound - thats why I think they have to be more on point time wise.

Hope you guys know what i mean and have any helpful tricks/tools to do the magic!!!
