I have auto assign track colour to off, and clip colour set to track (blue), and this works if I create a new track and then create an empty midi clip on that track, they are both created in blue.
But if I drag an audio or midi clip from the browser onto an empty space in the arrangement or onto an existing track, it ignores the track colour and this dragged clip is made any random colour.
Is this normal behaviour?
