Live 12 won't add folder to browser

I have just upgraded to Live 12 suite from 11 suite.
I am on an Apple mac mini M1 with macOS Monterey.
I have my sample library folder on an external SSD.
Not that either of those things should have anything to do with the issue I have.
I have my sample library folder added to places in Live 11.
It wasn't problem.
Live 12 won't add this folder to places.
I have tried 'add folder' from directly in places, and 'add folder to browser' in the file drop down menu.
What to do, has anyone else had/got this issue?

Does it work with any other folders from your internal SSD?

Is or was Live 11 open before you started Live 12?
If so, close all versions of Live, reopen Live 12, and try adding the folder again.

I have exactly the same issue. Work fine with internal drive folder but not with folder on external drive.
Have been asking around from reddit to discord but It’s seems to be a very rare case. I only found one guy with the same issue. Btw I’m on Monterey too that’s could be the case.
I’ve found another way which is drop your sample folder into one of your favorites color tag. It’s not very convenient but you still can access your sample library inside Live.

Hello friend.
I thought today maybe its because Live 12 doesn't have full disk access, but I just allowed it full disk access and it didn't resolve the issue.
If it's you and me then there must be others, we can't be the only ones running Live 12 on Monterey wanting to use sample library folder on an external drive, and in any case the macOS shouldn't be the problem, Live 12 is supposed to be supported Big Sur and up.
I have another external drive setup for audio recording and file caching, I have Live 12 pointed at each of those named folders on the external drive and Live 12 is able to see, and use them.
So adding a an external sample library to places in the browser shouldn't be an issue.
It must be a bug.

Bump.
Tried updating to latest Live 12 version but still can't add a folder from an external drive to the browser in places.
Live can see the external SSD I have setup for file caching and live recordings and uses it, but won't add the folder from the 2nd (seperate) Sample library SSD.

@EmceeDan did you figure this out yet?
@jur any suggestions?
