Copying Automation From Arrangement to Session?

I am using Live Version 12.1 on a Mac 2024 M3 running latest OS and have also tried on a Mac running Intel chips.

I have copied tracks with audio mixer automation created within Arrangement over to clips within Session in preparation for a live performance.

Each clip is therefore exactly the same length of each track copied from Arrangement.

However; the automation envelope does not copy across. I've tried displaying the dedicated automation track in Arrangement and copying from there but it still doesn't copy across to Session.

How do I select and copy the audio mixer envelope within Arrangement so that I can paste into the Session clip audio envelope?

I have tried everything and read the manual several times. Can’t see it anywhere. Help!

I notice from a Google search that users had exactly this problem back in 2010 but wasn't resolved in the thread. Surely still not a problem with version 12?!
