I come from Logic Pro.
I want to work in the Midi Note Editor while listening to a wave track in Arrangement View.
In Logic, I can set the Locator (Loop Brace) where I want and the playhead will start from there
all with keyboard shortcuts.
I don't find something similar in Ableton.
I can use the Loop Brace to loop something and it starts from there
because of an Insert Marker (very tiny green flag).
It seems that if the arrow ▶ on the left side of the Loop Brace is black
it will also start to play from there.
I would like to be able to move the Loop Brace and start from there or at the beginning of a clip
or from the point I clicked on and the last time I stopped all that without using the mouse or trackpad so much.
I made a keyboard shortcut with Keyboard Maestro to be able to move the Loop Brace quicker
it's nice but as it selects the main track, the Midi Note Editor window is not selected anymore,
and I have to select it in the main track and come back to work.
Now if I try to use the Loop Brace in the Midi Note Editor,
it gets out of sync with the wave track and it's a mess.

Any idea how this kind of workflow could get easier?
