Hello everybody, first time for me posting to this forum.
I've been seeking the forum and did not find an answer (may be I did not search correctly )
I have Live 12 standard on a computer and installed all optional packs easily.
On another computer, I have Live 11 standard (and need to keep this version for some weeks). I first tryed to install from the software itself and got messages claiming to validate license, that of course did not work.
So I went to the web page and download the Live 11 version of the pack (as it is write) and tried by clicking the .alp file (for the test : SynthEssentials_r58686_v1.2.alp). This pack should work on the standard version.
The installation went well but I still have the license problem, impossible to use it.
There is 15 packs that can be downloaded, and 9 have the same problem. So strange. Am'I the only one with this problem ?
thanks in advance for any response
licence error when installing some packs on live 11
Re: licence error when installing some packs on live 11
Synth Essentials is not part of Live 11 Standard, it was only added to Standard in Live 12.

Same for many other Packs (Beat Tools, Build and Drop, etc.).

thanks for the reply
it's so strange then, as you can see on the web page there is a button "download for live11"
https://www.ableton.com/packs/synth-essentials/
anyway it's working on 12. I'll wait when the time come to upgrade on my second computer
