Remote pressing F9

This is probably an oddball question, but I am trying the find an external button to attach to my PC (by USB of Bluetooth) that I could hit to effectively press F9 to start or stop recording, as sometimes depending on what instrument I'm playing it can be fiddly to press F9 or use the mouse.

I don't know if anyone can relate to this and has a suggestion...

There's many options out there, you could even get a cheap foot pedal from amazon that can output a keystroke, just make sure it's programmable.

Other, more sophisticated options could be a Streamdeck, a Monogram Console,... You could also use your phone with TouchOSC or something like that.
