Small Micrphone for Push Standalone

Howdy! I've been trying to figure out a way to get a small, portable microphone setup working with the Push 3 for Standalone operation. Note that I own an audio interface and a good microphone already - this is so I can have something on the go for song sketching, quick vocal takes, and general sampling. It doesn't need to break the bank or be super good.

I purchased this Rode lapel mic:

Hoping I could plug it into one of the mono inputs or maybe use a stereo splitter but I can't get anything out of it. No dice plugging it into my Apollo Twin X either, so it seems like it absolutely needs to be powered by the proprietary transmitter (or it's broken and I'm dumb, which is possible).

I understand that the Push can't even provide power and it's advisable to use a dynamic microphone but I thought it was worth a shot lol

Any recommendations here? I was hoping for either a little lapel mic or a gooseneck a-la the micro freak.

Thanks!
