Ext. Audio Effect no input.

Hi,

On my MacBookAir M3 2024, with Ableton 11.3.22 I get no input on any channel within Ableton. I also have a Ableton trial 12 running and this version also has no input whatsoever.

I've installed a Logic pro trial version to check and in Logic the audio inputs are working as should.

Mac: Sonoma 14.4.1
Ableton: 11.3.22
Audio interface: Audient EVO16 (last firmware update).

When I play a sample on an audiotrack in Ableton 11 and I put an external audio effect on it, I can route the audio out to the EVO16, back into my mac ( because the EVO software mixer is getting signal back in) but Ableton has no signal coming in from the EVO16.

My stomach says, it must be a Sonoma thing. I know, but it came with the M3 mac..

Ok, fixed it.

I had to 'unlock' my Microphone in Privacy And Security in the Mac OS settings. From there I could activate my EVO16 software and Ableton Live inputs...

Such a silly setting in Mac OS to be honest.
