Hello, I am trying to use looping in Ableton to start a clip, loop a middle section, and then finish playing the clip. I am not sure if there is an existing workflow to accomplish this. I have figured out a way to accomplish it by mapping a midi key to control the looping button. However, this only loops the currently selected clip. Is there a way to toggle looping for a specific clip?
I have tried to achieve a similar outcome by using MIDI to select the clip directly, however this method triggers the clip as well. If there is a way to select a clip without triggering it that would also be a great solution.
