Group of live drum tracks as template or preset?

Hi. I have a group of audio tracks that represent the input mics for an acoustic drum kit. Each sub-track is an audio track and then it's grouped together with a final EQ/compression effect.

When I drag the group over to the User Library, it's saved as a .als, so it's basically an easily accessible project but it's not an instrument that I can add to other existing projects. Is there a way to do that?
Right now, it seems like I can favorite the "LiveDrums.als" project and then open the subfolder that loads the Live Drum group but my laziness tells me that's super hacky.
