What am I doing wrong? is there a setting I can change? I have to select clips twice in order for the duplicate hotkey to work.
Anyone know why?
Thanks

What edition and version of Live are you using?
What operating system are you using?
Does this happen in Session or Arrangement?
Do other shortcuts (like Delete or Rename) work after the first click?
What was selected before you clicked the clip for the first time?
The more information you provide, the better we can help you.

ok thanks I was hoping it was a quick fix but I see this may be complicated.

Live 12 Suite
Win 11 - fully updated
Session view only
other shortcuts do not work either
a different clip was selected
It might be some plug in problem? Because it goes away if I restart the program
Hope you can help, thanks for your response

what it could be is clicking on the clips in a track shifts the focus of Live to an open plugin window of that track that now pops up (if you've got auto hide enabled), and clicking twice properly focusses on the clips. I get this a lot, and I'm sure it didn't used to do this.

yup I think youve nailed it, the workaround I guess is to select the focus first then then clip. Thanks.
