Live 12 on Ventura asks permission on every launch

Post by maja-k » Mon Apr 29, 2024 9:36 am

Mac Studio, Ventura, Live 12.0.2
Live 12 asks for permission to make changes on every launch.

I have granted Full Disk Access in System Settings.
I have tried -DontAskForAdminRights in Options.txt

and I have googled for hours...

...but I can't get rid of this.

I'm on Ventura. No such difficulty. I think I did have that issue with the Beta though.

Yeah, some were experiencing this but it was solved.

Is it Live Suite? Could it be Max requiring full access to your disk too? I feel like I'm completely wrong on this, but it's still worth checking.

Also, did you try thrashing your Preferences.cfg file?

It's not Suite, but Standard. And I have not tried Preferences.cfg, will do that. To be continued...

Do you have any 3rd party plugin as part as your default set? Maybe that's a new plugin you installed recently that needs permission?
