I have a Push 2, since Live 12 came out I noticed this process takes an unreasonable amount of CPU load and memory.
Even when idle it can go to 7% of CPU load, why Ableton, why?

Were you seeing something different with L11?

You may be able to lower its CPU usage if you disconnect Live from your audio device.

IME, ~5% isn't much for a DAW when idle, especially when you still have plenty of CPU headroom.

But I do have to ask -- why does the idle CPU usage matter? Don't you close all non-essential apps when using your DAW?
