Detune using MIDI Ctrl one unique note of a chord

Post by Dazzid » Mon May 06, 2024 1:59 pm

Hello,
I'm working with chords, and I need to change the pitch precisely within 100 cents of some specific notes inside the chord, let's say the third, but not affect the rest of the notes in the chord.
How to resolve this?
I know there are other tuning systems but I need to use the whole range of piano keys in 12 Edo. Just need to control the specific tuning of each note independently.
Is it possible in Ableton Live?
best

Yep,using MPE and assuming that the instrument supports MPE.

The answer is exactly that: instruments that support MPE. I was testing one that does not.
How to control the MPE parameter from Max? Oh, this question perhaps is not well placed here.
