Hi,
If you have random generated vocal/speech at unknown tempo how would you fit it to play nicely with a beat? Do you cut it into pieces and align to a kick or is there a better way to do that?
Thanks

If it’s rhythmic, you could do that.
Otherwise, I would disable the snap to grid mode in Live and move it independently until you find a nice spot that sounds right. After that, if it doesn’t land on a beat or logical point on the grid, enable the grid again and make an empty piece of audio - merge that to the sample (to add blank space at the beginning). Then split it in a place that makes sense, such as on the 1 beat, 2 beat, or somewhere that would allow you to move it or duplicate it and place/move it (easily) on the grid later
