Oxygen pro mini "shift/sends"

Hi. If I push shift and the 3rd pad for "sends", the knobs are assigned, but knob 1 just stays on "device", 1st instrument/1st parameter. If I move the bank along knob 1 still stays on 1st instrument, 1st parameter. The other 3 knobs are fine. Does anyone know what's up? Cheers. It's the same with the 1st pad, "pan". 1st knob just stays on device, 1st parameter.
And also, probably more annoying is the midi connection from the oxygen pro mini, for the faders to work in Ableton lasts about 5-10 min then is lost. You have to close Ableton& restart to enable the faders to work
