I'm new to Ableton. I'm following a tutorial and downloaded a sample project that came with it.

I'm getting this error when I try to save the project:

The Live Set you are about to save is located outside of a Project folder. Live must save the Set into a Project folder. Please choose a Project folder to save the Set into.

I have a folder in my Documents folder named My Ableton Projects. I copied the downloaded folder (AbletonLive12Explained-Project-v2) into this folder and opened the "G3 Main Project.als".

        G3 Main Project.als

            Processed
            Recorded

I don't understand the error message as I thought the AbletonLive12Explained-Project-v2 is a project folder.

Well, I figured it out. For some reason it didn't recognize the original folder to be a project folder. I did a "Save As" and selected a new name and it worked.
