-is there a way to re-program (or maybe with a M4L device) to use the bottom row of Push 3 standalone for other functions?
i almost never use the bottom row for launching, and it would be great if i can use the bottom row to mute tracks.
the goal is to mute different elements in a drum group (hihats, shakers, clap) live.
i would love to have 8 dedicated pads that only mute these tracks, no matter where i am in my set (view-wise).
a bit like the old mc-505 workflow i guess
-otherwise, is this possible with a macro?
i can make a macro to mute tracks in a drum rack, but not audio tracks..
ive tried with the Macro Knob.amxd, but i cant get it to work.
In this case, the goal is to mute different audio tracks (drums) with one macro inside a group.
I can then control this macro with Mapper LE from Isotoniks (thanks Isotoniks for this amazing free device).
Otherwise just forget it, i can just put the different loops on one tracks hehehe
I was playing with a drum rack the other day, and using a macro to go through different drum elements/tracks is amazing.
It gives you an easy layer of arrangement building on the fly, and it feels very natural to do it live.
Hope somebody can help me out!
