Audio interface in Push 3 standby mode

I'm trying to use push as a main audio interface for my home sudio but few things really confuse me.
Can ableton add some software fix for a volume control knob to support it in a standby mode (while live is closed)? (cuz adjusting levels with a mouse in a PC Push controll panel realy not so comfortable)
And also ability to turning off a display will be really good thing (there just a message "Connect Push to a computer and open Live to make music").
