Clicking the loop area bar changes the start+end, sometimes

I have to remember clicking the loop bar each time I'm going to export a song.
Sometimes, when I click the top loop area bar, ableton changes the start/end positions of it, and I have to reset it to what I want
It seems to happen if some event is in focus when I click on the bar
I have to remember to click somewhere empty on a track and then click the loop bar
Any way to avoid all this or fix it?
