I'm at the end of my rope here as I have been in contact with Native Instruments referring to Kontakt 7, I followed every instruction I had to to fix this problem

I open Abelton and I do not see Kontakt 7 in the vst3 folder as I do not see a vst3 folder!
I see my other native instruments plug ins in Abeton sidebar but not Kontakt 7

I ONLY see Kontakt in vst2 but if I open it the Ableon projects it cant find the plug in.

I have NO VST3 plug ins folder. I have tried correcting rescanning plug ins in Abelton's setting still same problem.

I re downloaded Abelton. opened Same Problem
I re downloaded and opened Kontakt 7 same problem,.

If open a project from last week using Kontakt I get a message that the vst 3 plug in Kontakt could not be found. I have sessions I need to finish as this all started when I upgraded Abelton 11 suite to the next version and upgraded NI Kontakt to the next version. I even went back and reopened Abelton to a date last week when everything was fine and I STILL have the same problem.

Just a thought, have you set 'Use VST3 Plug-In System Folders' to "On" to activate VST3 plug-ins. It's in Preferences → Plug-Ins → Plug-In Sources.

You may also want to do a deep scan on the VST folders. You can do this by pressing [option] while you click on 'scan'.
