Volume control with a launchpad mini

Hi everyone,
I am planning to do some live sets with Ableton and I want to use my Launchpad mini to launch the clips.
However I definitely need to be able to control volume on the eight channels that the mini is launching clips from. I know there is a functionality hidden behind the mixer button that you can control volume on a track from the mini but really I need hands-on volume control at the same time as launching and stopping clips. Just wondering what people use? Maybe I am better off with another controller say with six rows of sample buttons and eight faders.
I'm just interested to get peoples thoughts and would love to see set up photos. I will be using this set up for busking and street performance so I really just want to use a single controller and a laptop, which will be connected to a battery powered guitar amp, Boss Street Cube 2. In an ideal world I would do the show with a Standalone Push.
Thanks
