Why are the new Operator presets tied to Live 12?

Makes no sense (except maybe getting people to update, but who'd update for a few free presets?).

Not a kosher move, I'd say.

Has anyone checked if this is actually true? On the Operator product page it says, all you need is Live 9 Lite or higher.

Says Live 12 Suite required.

Some of the sounds in that pack (Operator20) are instrument racks, which I guess could use devices only found in Live 12.

Yes, that's it. I'm running 12 Standard with the Operator license I got with 10 Suite years ago, and the pack installed just fine. I just quickly went through all the rack presets, and the only one I can't load is the 'Fuya' preset (might use the Roar effect which is 12 Suite exclusive).

So anyone with a smaller or older version of Live could just give it a try, most presets will probably work.

Another reason:
Some presets use the option 'Enable Per-Note Pitch Bend', a feature introduced in Live 12.

Fuya uses Hybrid Reverb, which is Suite-only.

The presets were made in Live 12, so even if you install the pack in Live 12, you cannot use the presets in older versions of Live.
