3Eq when using Evolution UC33e

I have just got my MIDI controller and have begun to set it up. I have assigned the bass, middle and treble to a line of knobs on the controller for the 3Eq. The question I have is that on my old mixer when you would run the Bass knob right back you would almost suck the bass out of the track. You could hear this effect. With the built in 3Eq it just slowly kills it without any sucking (hope you know what I mean). Is there any way to get this effect back?

Use EQ4 instead of EQ3...
first you'll notice that eq3 introduce colours to the sound (try swithching on and off and you'll see what i mean)
Second with EQ4 you can set a high pass filter and a low pass filter and kill the whole sound if you like. When you have found the range that suits you, you can set the range of your UC controller knob in LIVE midi assignement!

With a conventional mixer when you wind the bass back to kill it, it is also as if it sucks the bass out of the track - like feedback. When you use the 3eq to kill the bass there is no sound other than that of removeing the bass. I want to be able to rapidly wind the bass back and forward to create this sound using the midi knob.
The sound would be like phasing the base out of the track.

Thanks Zekrab.
Took your advise and it works great. I have both the Eq3 setup and the Eq4 assigned to 1 knob on the controller.
All I need to do now is to figure out he sends.
