Hi all!

So I have this project of creating a live setup featuring the push 3 at the center of it, and am planning on placing every piece of gear in a big pedalboard-like flight case, and fixating all the elements of the setup with Velcro, much like a guitar player would fixate all his pedals on his pedalboard. The goal being to 1: protect and carry everything easily; and 2: pre-wire everything so I only need to plug my main out L/R to the console of whichever venue I’m playing at, that night.
My question is the following: What are your thoughts on fixating the Push 3 on a board using Velcro? Is it realistic to think it will hold in place during transportation given the quite heavy nature of the device? Should I be worried that it might overheat if it is placed on a synthetic textile carpet such as pedalboard carpets? Any practical advice regarding this is most welcome !

Too heavy for just Velcro.

For similar gear I've used a Temple Audio pedalboard where you use adhesive metal fasteners that screw to the board. They are only about one inch square so you can add as many as you need. For tr-8s I used 4.

Maybe a little harder to remove than Velcro adhesive.

Just an example of something I found that works. But just Velcro scares me.

(I think I'd figure out some sort of spacers if I was mounting the p3s on the temple board, definitely want airflow.)

For me personally, I would not mount the p3s with a lot of other stuff on one board, just too heavy. When something that heavy drops to a hard floor from just a small distance, like you would a suitcase, it can cause a harder shock to what's inside than you might expect.

That's when you move up to flight cases.
