Is it possible to import midi into Move?

Either loading the midi stored on the Move into a clip slot or bringing clips from Ableton into Move via the cloud?

You open Note's sets into Move, so in a sense you have midi clip import.
But there's no Clip folder in Move's library. You copy clips between sets though.
You can't export clips from Live to Move.

Thanks for the answer. Can then note import midi files?

Its a shame that sometimes the level of minimalism dips below what's usable/acceptable.

For instance 4 tracks is fine with me but I want to take a range of ideas created anywhere with me and play around with them.

I guess it's anyone's guess if they add clip sharing in the future, but midi is so basic to the music making process. I dont want another device which sits on the shelf and I think that Ableton could have something really good here if the minimum usability was reached.

Thanks again for you answering many of our questions here.

Not the best answer, but you can send sequencer data (e.g. from Drambo) to Note via the MIDI in support. It's a bit tricky, since Note is actually capturing in real-time. For a few clips, this may work. But you probably have to clean up or trim the clip afterwards.

It's actually more of a hassle than it should be.
