Move’s random instrument preset mode but with Push and Live

One of the things that I love about Note and Move is the random instruments preset feature which lets you just load it up and start jamming immediately. That's a nice change of pace to get randomly generated options.

Push, or Live in general should have a random feature. I think the current way live works with templates makes it a bit more challenging than the clean slate Ableton had with Note and Move.

Still, if they would introduce a ’random’ feature when choosing an instrument this would solve it. So if you add a new sound, and choose pad for instance, there would be a ’random preset’ icon at the top. If you choose this, live or push would give you a random pad preset. Same with bass or drum racks etc.

This way it would work with the current templates. You could make a ‘preset template’ that give you a drum rack, bass, pad an a lead. But also put whatever you prefer in there, if you would like 1 random drum rack and nothing else, make a template for that. If you would like a drum rack and 3 different leads, put that in your template.
